Vaginal Bleeding in the Second Trimester EM E-learning Module
Vaginal bleeding in the second trimester is much less common than first trimester bleeding. Two serious conditions that must be ruled out by the ED physician are placenta previa and abruptio placenta. This module will discuss a diagnostic approach to patients presenting with second trimester vaginal bleeding.
